In money matters you are extremely hard to deal with and are sometimes seen as being overly materialistic. Although you do drive a hard bargain your integrity always steers your course in life.

Everything is automatic nowadays. Honestly, I’m bored of the immediate playback of DSLR and the hours spent sorting, editing gigabytes of raw files. Got this camera recently, each shot takes at least a couple of minute to compose, adjust aperture and shutter speed, look through the viewfinder again to check exposure meter, adjust again. Now this is what photography is all about, at least to me.

Back to my topic, so what effect will this have on the people of this generation? In two or three decades from now, young people may have never seen film in their life. In the past, we’ve associated old times with the vintage look on the photos. Film and (actual) photograph degrade as time passes, however, in the age of digital, most of our photos are stored in digital devices–comptuer, digital photo frame, smart phones..etc., there’s no way you can show a natural vintage look on this type of media. Imagine you look at a 20-year-old digital photo and it looks like it was taken yesterday. Where’s the old times?

I reckon the only way we would be able to tell the “time” in a digital photos was the content in them, we’d look younger, we’d been in different outfit (assuming we’ll all wear space jumpsuit in the future), and probably we would be in space, thus the Startrek space jumpsuit. But for our children and their children, do they even care about an old photo anymore? They probably don’t need to hold a photograph anymore, everything would be projected right in front of their eyes by whatever technology they are going to come up with. Sadly, even holding an actual photograph is becoming less common nowadays. The art of photography is to take a photo, produce a print, and then sit back and enjoy it. This little piece of paper produced many happiness and smiles on us, without it, we don’t get to share it, pass it around, or cut out the person you hate.

The words above stem from Mao ZeDong with a little variation of my own. The basic translation would be “Those who disagree with me are my enemies, what my enemies deem acceptable, I mustn’t accept, what my enemies deem unacceptable, I must accept.” And this is what I believe in right now.

Spring break is offically ON!! Thirteen (including today) stress-free and relaxing  days, I could do anything I want! I’ll be going away with some friends tomorrow for a couple of days. When I come back, I’m going to relax some more and gotta study for Advanced Accounting 2 midterm, which will be on the 20th of April, the first day I go back to school. Many people didn’t like the this midterm arranaged in the first day we go back to school, however, I think it gives me enough time to study. Those who know me knew that I need LOTS of time to study!!

I thought long and hard before I purchase this on the net, even though I haven’t seen the watch myself. I read comments and review on this watch but I have no regret on this purchase at all.
